Willock, Isak and Kelly start – Confirmed Newcastle team vs Fulham

The team sheets are in at Craven Cottage, where Newcastle United take on Fulham in a bid to go top of the Premier League table with a win.

Here’s the side Eddie Howe’s gone with for today’s 3pm kick-off in London:

NUFC XI: Pope – Trippier, Schar, Burn, Kelly – Willock, Bruno, Joelinton – Gordon, Isak, Barnes.

SUBS: Dubravka, Krafth, Hall, Livramento, Tonali, Longstaff, Murphy, Almiron, Osulav

Alexander Isak has passed a late fitness test and starts, as does Joe Willock, Lloyd Kelly and Kieran Trippier, who come in for Sean Longstaff, Lewis Hall and Tino Livramento.

Harvey Barnes returns to Howe’s XI, replacing Jacob Murphy, but Sandro Tonali is forced to settle for a place on the bench once again, much to the frustration of fans on social media.

As expected, Callum Wilson (back), Lewis Miley (foot), Sven Botman (ACL) and Jamaal Lascelles (ACL) miss out once again, with our No.9 not expected back in training until October’s international break.
