Aston Villa were able to record another impressive win this afternoon in their 3pm kickoff against Leicester, who still only have 1 point to their name this season in the Premier League.

Leicester City
Leicester had a very average afternoon, with no player managing to get a rating better than a 7.0. Substitute Buonanotte managed to get a 7.0 with his goal and Harry Winks managed a 6.9 with his overall contributions.
Aston Villa
Villa’s players had a more impressive afternoon away from home, with Tielemans (7.1), Onana (7.3) and Digne (7.4) all getting over a 7.0 rating.
Best Player of the Match
Lucas Digne
Despite Onana and Duran getting the goals, it was Lucas Digne whose 7.4 rated performance that made him the best player on the pitch.
With 3 tackles won, 2 interceptions and his assist he was able to grab the player of the match plaudits in our rankings.
Worst Player on the Pitch
Jamie Vardy
With zero shots on goal across the 90 minutes, Jamie Vardy unfortunately was unable to make enough of an impact on this game to get any better than a 5.5 rating on the day.
Leicester will be looking to him to produce far more this season as the 37-year-old will be pivotal to them staying up in the Premier League for another season, should they manage to do so.
