Bournemouth fight back while Villa and Brentford also win

Round three of the Premier League was full of drama as the goals flew in on Saturday afternoon.

Brighton and Arsenal set the pace in the early kick-off, playing out a 1-1 draw that saw Declan Rice sent off.

But there was plenty still on the menu ahead of the evening clash between West Ham and Manchester City.

Nottingham Forest 1-1 Wolves

The Tricky Trees took the lead through the reliable Chris Wood, who netted 10 minutes in.

But the lead only lasted two minutes before Jean-Ricner Bellegarde equalised.

Forest had the better chances as the game went on but could not find a winner on the day.

Leicester 1-2 Aston Villa

Aston Villa bounced back from a defeat to Arsenal by beating Leicester in a Midlands derby.

The Villans stormed into a 2-0 lead, courtesy of Amadou Onana and Jhon Duran.

But Leicester did hit back with a goal through Facimdp Buonanotte, putting pressure on the away side in the dying minutes.

However, Unai Emery’s side held out to take all three points.

Ipswich 1-1 Fulham

Ipswich earned their first point of the season in an entertaining draw at Portman Road against Fulham.

The Tractor Boys took the lead through summer signing Liam Delap, netting a brilliant goal in front of the home crowd.

But a new-look Fulham fought back and grabbed a goal through the Speedy Adama Traore.

It was finely poised all the way through in Suffolk but in the end the spoils were shared.

Brentford 3-1 Southampton
