Barcelona risk losing winger target to Saudi Arabia after huge bid submitted – Romano

With only a few days before the summer transfer window closes, one of the main aims of FC Barcelona is to bring in a new left-winger.

After missing out on Nico Williams, the Catalans have set their sights on several alternatives one of whom happens to be Bayern Munich attacker Kingsley Coman.

The 28-year-old Frenchman is out of favour at Bayern Munich and has been made available for a transfer this summer.

Hansi Flick knows the winger well from their time together in Bavaria and as such, Coman remains an option on the table, along with Federico Chiesa and Rafael Leaon.

Saudi Arabia table big offer for Coman

However, Barcelona now run the risk of losing Kingsley Coman as Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal have entered the race to sign him.

Indeed, according to Fabrizio Romano, Al Hilal have made an important, huge bid to sign Coman from Bayern Munich.

As mentioned earlier, the French winger is on Barcelona’s radar with Flick being an admirer while clubs in the Premier League have also shown an interest.

But, Al Hilal have now come knocking with an important offer which Bayern Munich have already received and would be prepared to accept as well.

The final decision is now up to Coman as he must choose whether to leave Europe for the Middle East, opt for Barcelona or the Premier League, or even continue at Bayern Munich.

Coman is yet to make a decision on his next move and the situation surrounding him will certainly be worth keeping an eye on in the remaining days of the transfer window, especially if Barcelona end up missing out on Chiesa with Liverpool entering the race.
