Reports tonight from Sky Sports’ Kieth Downie confirm that William Osula is now a done deal and set to be announced any minute now.
The promising 21-year-old striker has reportedly passed his Newcastle medical yesterday and completed formalities putting pen to paper on a long-term contract.
The fee is thought to be £10m with £5m in add-ons. The plan is to have Osula as part of the first team squad this season, suggesting he will not be going out on loan.
There is the assumption he will be third choice behind Isak and Wilson, benefiting from training under a high quality set up with some well managed minutes.
We await official confirmation of the Dane’s signature from the club.
