It has been over a month since Barcelona named Hansi Flick as their new manager, replacing Xavi Hernandez after a disappointing 2023/24 season.
While the German tactician has already taken charge of the team in pre-season, an official presentation for him has yet to be conducted.
Date set
Now, though, SPORT reports that there is a date set for Hansi Flick to be officially presented as the Barcelona manager.
Everything indicates that the said presentation of the 59-year-old manager will take place right before the Blaugrana fly to the United States of America for their pre-season friendly matches.
As things stand, the idea is for Flick’s formal presentation in front of the media to take place on either July 25 or 26, right before Barça fly to North America on the 28th of the month.
Once in the USA, Barcelona will play their first game with Flick in charge when they take on Manchester City before locking horns with Real Madrid and AC Milan.
Even though his presentation has yet to take place, Flick has already begun working with the team and has been conducting training for almost two weeks now.
At the same time, the former Bayern Munich and Germany manager has been busy planning the squad for the next season with sporting director Deco.
The official presentation will also be the first time that he will interact with the media after taking over as manager of Barcelona.
And, unless anything changes, it is expected to take place in a week or so, right before Flick and Barça travel to the US.
