Earlier this week, Lazio became the latest party to join the race to sign Vitor Roque this summer.
The Brazilian forward, despite training intensely under Hansi Flick, is facing an uncertain future at Camp Nou, with clubs such as Fiorentina, FC Porto and Napoli keen on his services.
Barcelona are ideally keen on a loan deal for Roque, but the player’s agent appears to favour a permanent move elsewhere, provided he does leave Camp Nou this summer.
Lazio weighing up offer for Vitor Roque
According to Mundo Deportivo, Lazio are preparing an offer for Vitor Roque this summer, just days after expressing their interest in signing the forward.
As per the report, the Italian giants are weighing up a loan move for Vitor Roque, which will include a buyout clause worth around €25 million.

Lazio’s desire to sign Vitor Roque stems from Ciro Immobile’s recent move to Besiktas while top target Mason Greenwood is moving closer to Marseille.
Vitor Roque, therefore, has appeared as an ideal option for Lazio, in their bid to add some attacking firepower ahead of the new season.
Will Barcelona accept the offer?
Lazio’s potential offer would represent a steep discount for a player who joined Barcelona for a fee upwards of €40 million, not more than six months ago.
Keeping that in mind, Barcelona are unlikely to entertain any bid for Vitor Roque. The Brazilian, after all, is looking to impress Flick in pre-season while the coach himself has decided to offer the young attacker a second chance.
If Vitor Roque fails to impress Flick in the coming weeks, only then Barcelona would consider offers for the former Athletico Paranaense starlet.
Lazio’s €25 million offer, though, may not make the cut as the valuation is simply too low.
