It promises to be a hectic summer transfer window for Barcelona, who will be looking to get rid of the deadweight and make the required fortifications ahead of next season.
Although many transfer dealings are still in the early stages, the Catalan giants are actively negotiating with clubs and players throughout Europe.
And many of their negotiations involve Girona, as both sides have several mutual issues to resolve.
Pau Victor and Oriol Romeu’s agent has arrived at club offices
Indeed, the agent representing Pau Victor and Oriol Romeu, Mágico Díaz, has arrived at the club’s offices to discuss potential transfer arrangements and finalize negotiations, reports Jijantes FC.
Pau Victor, the leading scorer for Barcelona Atletic last season, was on loan from Girona and is now returning to his parent club.
However, with Marc Guiu’s transfer to Chelsea, Barcelona lacks ample centre-forward options and are interested in re-signing Victor.

With Vitor Roque’s future up in the air and Robert Lewandowski not getting any younger, Barcelona intend to count on Pau Victor in the foreseeable future.
As such, discussions with his agent are likely to pertain to feasible ways of securing his permanent stay in Barcelona.
Oriol Romeu’s case
Meanwhile, Oriol Romeu is expected to hit the exit door owing to the substandard season he endured.
The veteran midfielder is attracting interest from Girona and could potentially enter a swap agreement with Pau Victor.
Given that Romeu was a key figure for Girona before joining the Blaugranes and maintains interest from their manager Michel strengthens his case of a homecoming.
However, time will tell how an agreement comes about, as he arrived for a meagre sum of €3 million and is not expected to command a big fee again.
In fact, reports have argued that Girona will only sign him for free, which complicates matters for Barcelona.
