Bruno Guimaraes breaks Miguel Almiron’s heart as Newcastle stars clash at Copa America

Bruno Guimaraes’ Brazil blew away Miguel Almiron’s Paraguay in the early hours of Saturday morning as the two Toon teammates met at Copa America.

The 2am kick off in Las Vegas was a huge game for both, with each side in need of a win after failing to take maximum points from their opening group games, where Brazil drew 0-0 to Costa Rica and Paraguay were beaten 2-1 by Colombia earlier this week.

Both men started in Vegas and it was Brazil who ran out 4-1 winners, with a Vinicius Junior brace and goals from Lucas Paqueta and Savio sealing a big win for the Samba stars to dump Paraguay out.

Bruno impressed in an all-action display and crashed the bar (see below) before he was replaced by Douglas Luiz 20 minutes from time, while Almiron was taken off with 78 on the clock.
