Newcastle announce price of 2024/25 Adidas home shirt and £5 initiative

Newcastle United have revealed how much it will cost to buy our new 2024/25 home shirt ahead of this week’s official release by new kit suppliers Adidas.

The Adult replica shirt will set you back £80, the junior shirt is £55 and it the ‘authentic replica match shirt’ will cost £110.

The club have also agreed to donate £5 to the Newcastle United Foundation for every new home shirt that’s sold between Friday’s release date and the end of August.

A nice touch from the club, but some aren’t happy the latest price hike. The 2022/23 home shirt cost £65 on release, which went up to £70 last season and now £80 following Adidas’ return.

You could argue we will now receive a better quality product, with Adidas a far more reputable and established brand than Castore. Interestingly, the £80 price for an adult top is on par with what Arsenal (Adidas), Liverpool (Nike) and Man City (Puma) are charging for their upcoming kits, while Spurs (Nike) will sell their 2024/25 home shirt for a whopping £85.
