Barcelona view La Liga rivals as a favourable destination for 21-year-old forward

Ansu Fati is one of many Barcelona youngsters set to return to Camp Nou after the end of their respective loan spells.

Once regarded as the next big thing in European football, injuries have been a lot kinder to Fati this season.

But his progress at Brighton has been stifled nonetheless, with the player struggling to establish himself as a first-team regular for Roberto De Zerbi’s men.

As Fati looks to return to his parent club, Barcelona will face an uphill task of finding a new club for the Spanish international, who is clearly not a part of Xavi’s plans for next season.

As such, Barcelona are actively looking for suitors for Fati. According to AS, the Catalans want to find a new loan deal for Fati, even though a direct sale has not been ruled out for the young attacker.

The Spanish giants were notably interested in the 21-year-old last summer, but the youngster ultimately opted for a move to Brighton.

But as Fati looks to return to Barcelona once again, Sevilla have lined themselves up as one of the potential suitors.

Barcelona see Sevilla as an ideal destination for Fati to continue his career. Los Nervionenses are regarded as a solid team in La Liga and could offer the young forward an ideal platform to revive his career.

Currently languishing in a mid-table spot, Sevilla require someone like Fati to add that X-Factor in the final third and offer optimum support to Youssef En-Nesyri.

However, these are still early days and it will be interesting to see how many clubs line up for Fati in the coming months.
