As Barcelona get set to take on Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu tonight, manager Xavi Hernandez has released the squad list of players that will be travelling to the Spanish capital today.
Barcelona will be looking for a victory to keep their hopes of retaining the La Liga title alive and they will play at the Bernabeu in a special ‘Karol G’ jersey tonight.
As far as the squad is concerned, Xavi welcomes back Sergi Roberto and Andreas Christensen after the pair missed the midweek UEFA Champions League clash against PSG through suspension.
Robert Lewandowski, Joao Cancelo, and Inigo Martinez missed the previous La Liga encounter against Cadiz because of suspension and are back in the roster.
Only Gavi and Alejandro Balde are the injury-enforced absentees for the reigning champions of La Liga.
Meanwhile, youngsters Marc Casado and Marc Guiu have not been called up as the pair will be playing for Rafa Marquez’s Barça Atletic squad tonight.
But, Hector Fort and Diego Kochen do make the squad list for the trip to Real Madrid, along with Lamine Yamal, Fermin Lopez, and Pau Cubarsi, with the latter set to make his El Clasico debut.
