Werder Bremen will be hoping to stop the rot of a terrible run of form when they travel to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Friday.
Frankfurt are currently positioned in sixth and are poised to claim a spot in the Europa League, with any hopes of a return to the Champions League seemingly gone as they are 12 points adrift of the top four.
Bremen are in 10th, 10 points in the clear of the bottom three, but they need to sort their form out and fast or they risk being thrown into a relegation battle.

At the beginning of March, Eintracht Frankfurt won two in a row against Heidenheim and Hoffenheim, but were subsequently defeated 3-1 by Borussia Dortmund and then could only manage a drab 0-0 draw at home to Union Berlin.
In their last nine games in all competitions, they have kept just one clean sheet.
Werder Bremen’s current form
Bremen haven’t won in five games and have lost four in a row versus Hoffenheim, Dortmund, Union Berlin and Wolfsburg.
Goalscoring has been a major issue for them this season, as you need to go back eight games to find an occasion when they found the back of the net more than once in a game.

Frankfurt will definitely be without Sasa Kalajdzic, Mehdi Loune and Sebastian Rode, all of whom are sidelines with long-term knee injuries.
There are doubts over the fitness of Hugo Larsson and Aurelio Buta due to a hip issue and illness, respectively.
For Bremen, Jens Stage, Mitchell Weiser and Senne Lynen are all available for selection again after serving suspensions, but Anthony Jung received a red card in the loss against Wolfsburg so he is suspended.
Dawid Kownacki, Niklas Stark, Justin Njinmah, Skelly Alvero, Michael Zetterer, Amos Pieper and Marco Friedl are all injured.
