Ever since penning a deal with Barcelona, Spotify have come up with creative methods to not only promote their music streaming platform but also promote individual artists.
One of Spotify’s marketing campaigns has seen the Swedish music streaming platform design specific shirts for Barcelona to promote certain artists.
Indeed, Barcelona have worn special kits featuring the likes of Drake, Rosalia and most recently, Rolling Stones, particularly in the games against Real Madrid.
With Barcelona set to take on Real Madrid on April 21, Spotify appear to have already identified the next music artist who will feature on the club’s jersey next month.
Karol G to feature on Barcelona kit vs Real Madrid
According to Punto Deportivo (h/t Mundo Deportivo), Karol G will be the next artist to feature on Barcelona kit when the Catalans take on Real Madrid next month.

Much like pop sensation Shakira, Karol G stems from Colombia. She is one of Latin America’s most popular pop artists right now and has won several accolades throughout her career, including Grammy and Billboard awards.
Karol G has plans to visit Spain as part of her international tour. She has already scheduled three shows at Santiago Bernabeu on July 21-23, tickets for which have been sold out.
Karol G will also perform in Barcelona at Estadio Companys, although exact dates of those concerns have not been scheduled just yet.
Both Spotify and Barcelona are soon expected to announce this special kit soon, which will make Karol G the fourth artist to feature in Barça kits, following Drake, Rosalia and Rolling Stones.
