Barcelona’s contact with 59-year-old managerial target has been very positive – report

According to journalist Adrian Sanchez, the initial contacts Barcelona established with Hansi Flick have been extremely positive and the reason why the Blaugrana are particularly interested in the German is because he has not shown any doubts about the team.

Over the past few days, Barcelona have shown eagerness towards the continuity of Xavi, but the current manager has no interest in bearing any more pressure. 

In fact, as reported before, the 44-year-old will not continue even if he manages to win the UEFA Champions League this season.

Contacts with Flick

Yesterday, we reported that Barcelona are beginning to work towards a new hiring and for that, they have established one key criterion. 

As such, the candidate who will be contacted by the team must have experience of several leagues and Flick does not fall into that category, having only managed teams in Germany.

Despite these claims, it has been learned that Barcelona have been in touch with Flick and the initial communication with the 59-year-old was quite positive. The reason is that the German is one of the few coaches who has not shown any doubts about Barcelona.
