However, according to reports from Brazilian publication UOL, as relayed by AS, Barcelona might have an edge over the other interested parties in the race to sign Estevao from Palmeiras.
As per the report, Barcelona find competition from Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, and PSG in the race, with all clubs having established contact with Palmeiras about a move.
However, Barça may have a slight lead over the other interested parties, thanks to their good relationship with Estevao’s agent, Andre Cury.
The 16-year-old’s representative will be in Barcelona next week for the official presentation of Vitor Roque, who joined the La Liga champions from Athletico Paranaense. And the two parties could discuss the possibility of Estevao’s transfer when he is in Catalonia.
