Barcelona have been increasingly focusing on unearthing special young talents from across the globe and signing them with an eye on the future.
This strategy saw the club bring in players like Noah Darvich, Mikayil Faye, and Mamadou Fall, among others, while a deal for Vitor Roque was also secured.

Barcelona make their move for Claudio Echeverri
One such exciting talent that Barcelona have on their agenda is Argentine teenager Claudio Echeverri, who plies his trade for River Plate.
The 17-year-old has been linked with the reigning La Liga champions for quite some time now and it appears that a move has been made to secure his signing.
Indeed, as per a report from journalist Gustavo Yarroch, Barcelona are willing to pay €30 million to sign Echeverri from River Plate next year.
The 17-year-old wonderkid has a release clause worth €25 million, but the Blaugrana are ready to pay a sum higher than that, but in separate instalments, another report from German Garcia Grova claims.

Barcelona ready to beat Chelsea, Man City
Barcelona are not the only club interested in signing Echeverri as Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Manchester City have also been following him.
But, it is the Catalans that have made the first move, with initial talks already having begun.
The Argentine whizkid’s contract with River Plate expires on December 31, 2024, and the club would like to offer him an extension. However, they would be willing to sanction an exit if the player expresses his desire to leave.
The idea of Echeverri’s agents is to secure a deal for him now and move him to his new club in the summer of 2024, after he has turned 18 years old.
