Newcastle’s media team have shared some footage from the Toon training ground ahead of tonight’s trip to Merseyside, where we take on Everton in the 7.30pm kick-off on Amazon Prime.
The behind-the-scenes video features Anthony Gordon’s reaction to drawing Sunderland in the FA Cup, a few clips of suspended midfielder Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes celebrating a tackle in a training drill (involving Eddie Howe!) and Lewis Miley taking on Matt Ritchie at Teqball.
It’s great to see the lads in good spirits and clear to see the sense of unity throughout the squad, with one moment showing U21 talents like Ben Parkinson and Amadou Diallo welcomed by our senior players before the session begins.

It’s noticeable that none of our injured players are back in action, but it’s hoped the likes of Sven Botman, Sean Longstaff, Joe Willock, Harvey Barnes and Callum Wilson can return to the grass soon.
