Shearer, Bruno & Botman slam VAR after robbery in Paris – “What a joke!”

Alan Shearer has described PSG’s late penalty as a ‘disgusting decision’ following last night’s 1-1 draw at the Parc de Princes.

Bruno Guimaraes and Sven Botman also posted telling messages on their Instagram story after the game. The Brazilian said the decision ‘makes me sick’, while Botman called the VAR intervention a ‘joke.’

In an angry rant on Twitter, Shearer was gutted that an outstanding away performance from all 11 players was ‘spoilt’ by the referee, who clearly ignored the fact the ball rebounded off Livramento’s chest before hitting his arm.

Here’s what all three had to say on social media after the game:

Alan Shearer – “Do me a f****** favour man. What a load of s***. A superb battling away performance from every single player. Shouldn’t be spoilt by a disgusting decision. Well done, @NUFC.”

Bruno Guimaraes – “Sometimes in life you have to accept some decisions that you know are wrong and not being able to do anything for that makes me sick! Life is as it is.”

Sven Botman – “What a joke.”

Tino Livramento also took to social media after the match, sharing this classy message after he was wrongfully penalised for a handball at the death:
