Ansu Fati has completed the first third of his loan spell at Brighton & Hove Albion from Barcelona and his performances have gone from strength to strength.
The Spanish forward had to leave Barça due to a lack of minutes, having fallen down the pecking order under Xavi Hernandez.
And, after a period of adaptation, he has started to become an important player for the Premier League outfit.
Ansu’s priority is to return to Barcelona
Even though there have been speculations that Barcelona could opt to sell Ansu Fati permanently next summer once his loan deal expires, the youngster’s priority is to return to the club and succeed there, reports SPORT.
The Blaugrana academy graduate sees this year as an impasse in his future in which he must recover his confidence in order to come back stronger.
Fati’s absolute priority is to return to Barça, where he believes he can have a place given the poor performance of the attacking players this season.
Ansu, whose market value stands at €35 million, had to leave Barcelona as he was no longer a regular in Xavi’s plans, having failed to find his best level since returning from his injury woes.
The club thought of a permanent transfer to generate money, but the youngster was reluctant to leave. In the end, the two parties settled on a loan departure.

After a slow start in England, the 21-year-old is starting to grow in stature, and now has four goals and an assist in 13 games and is earning the trust of manager Roberto De Zerbi.
If everything continues in the same way, he can be a key player in the final stretch of the season and from there his fate will have to be decided.
Barcelona open to a sale
Ansu, who has a contract with Barça until 2027, wants to return and the club will need a quick player who can play on the left flank.
