We rattled Mikel Arteta at the Emirates and it seems we’ve done it against this season. Speaking to journalist and Sky Sports and the local press after our 1-0 win over the Gunners, he was NOT a happy man.
The Spaniard described our winning goal as “a disgrace” that’s left him “feeling sick”, calling the decision to let Anthony Gordon’s strike stand “embarrassing.”
To clarify, beIN Sports have now confirmed that the ball was in play. Replays show Gordon was not clearly offside and also highlight no ‘clear and obvious’ foul on Gabriel, who flopped to the floor after minimal contact from Joelinton.

“I feel sick. That’s how I feel. I feel sick to be part of this.”

In the end, we were the better side. We outworked and outfought an Arsenal side who only managed one shot on target.
Arteta is no stranger to throwing his toys out of the pram when things don’t go his way and he’s done it again here.
