Shark attack: Ferran Torres continues his incredible form for Barcelona

With each stride Ferran Torres takes on the field, it is almost as if he is shedding the weight of his past struggles.

The thick fog of self-doubt that once obstructed his vision now appears to be replaced by vivid clarity. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, he has emerged from the depths of his own insecurities.

Since the beginning of the campaign, Ferran has scored a goal every 31 minutes. His name is regularly stamped on the scoreboard, and every touch of his exudes a sense of confidence that was hard to associate with him just a year ago.

Goals galore

That instinct to rattle the back of the net had always defined him when he plied his trade with Valencia and Manchester City, but it gradually faded as he made the move to Barcelona.

Now, with his actions contrasting the clumsiness of his past and morphing into a symphony of controlled chaos, Ferran is back doing what he does best: scoring goals.

Impressively, the Spanish forward has scored three goals for Barcelona and two goals for the national team in a total of just 155 minutes.

He has only received one start so far this season, but limited game time has not extinguished his will to bulge the back of the net.

In fact, he was not even initially called up to the Spanish National Team during the recently concluded International Break.

However, after injuries to Marco Asensio and Dani Olmo, Ferran seized the opportunity like no other and scored a brace off the bench against Cyprus.

The 23-year-old has scored three goals in 126 minutes with Barcelona and two goals with the national team in less than half an hour. Despite mere patches of game time, he has maintained a consistent scoring record.
