The first international break of the new season is done and dusted, as Barcelona look to resume their campaign against Real Betis on Saturday.
Heading into this crucial match, Xavi Hernandez faces a selection dilemma in the attacking department, especially knowing the fact that Barcelona also have another matchup against Royal Antwerp in the Champions League.
Who will start in attack?
As pointed out by Mundo Deportivo recently, Xavi will primarily have to think through his options in the attacking department, with nearly all of his options scoring during the international break.
So far this season, the Barcelona coach has opted for a four-man midfield, with Robert Lewandowski partnering another forward.
However, heading into the Betis game, Ilkay Gundogan has been suffering from a knock in his back, which puts question marks on his fitness this weekend.
Should Gundogan miss out, there is a very real possibility Gavi could occupy his position in the midfield slot.

This, in turn, could open up an opportunity for Xavi to field someone like Ferran Torres, who scored a brace against Cyprus. Lamine Yamal, too, scored his maiden goal for Spain during the international break.
Apart from Yamal and Torres, Xavi has other attacking options as well, including Raphinha and new signing Joao Felix.
The Portuguese international scored a goal against Luxembourg while Raphinha found the back of the net against Bolivia.
With almost everyone scoring, the decision is on Xavi, as he looks to add proper support to Robert Lewandowski upfront.
The Barcelona coach is likely to opt for a bit of rotation, especially as he keeps one eye on the upcoming game against Royal Antwerp in the Champions League.
