With the rebranding from FIFA to EA Sports FC completed, the gaming media house have officially released the ratings for the best players in the game for their debut version – FC 24 – set to release in late September.
Four players have been rated a whopping 91 — the highest in the game, a list that includes Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe, Kevin de Bruyne, and Barcelona’s very own Alexia Putellas.
EA has now released the list of the highest-rated players from men’s La Liga — a total of 24 players. It contains ten players from Real Madrid, eight from Barcelona, three from Atletico Madrid, and one each from Villarreal, Sevilla, and Celta Vigo.
Lewandowski, ter Stegen, de Jong top of the charts
Robert Lewandowski is the joint-highest-rated La Liga player in the game at 90, on par with Thibaut Courtois. With reports claiming that EA have downgraded most players in this version, Lewa’s rating has also been cut down by one point compared to FIFA 23.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Vinicius Jr have received an overall of 89 each, and are the second-highest players from the league. The former was at 88 in the last edition of the game, but gets a much-deserved upgrade after a record-breaking 2022/23 season.
Frenkie de Jong finishes the Barça podium off with an 87 rating, one more than Ronald Araujo, Pedri, Joao Cancelo, and Ilkay Gundogan, who are all at 86 each. Jules Kounde rests a cut below with 85.
How does rest of La Liga fare?
Elsewhere in the league, Antoine Griezmann and Jan Oblak get a rating of 88 each. The former was arguably the best players in the league last season, and was also one of the best players during the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
World Cup winner Rodrigo de Paul is the third and final entrant from Atletico with a rating of 84.
Real Madrid, on the other hand, have Federico Valverde listed at 88, Luka Modric at 87, while Jude Bellingham, Eder Militao, and Toni Kroos cap off at 86. David Alaba, Antonio Rudiger, and Rodrygo have been rated 85…
