Sky Sports have confirmed that Tino Livramento has passed his medical on Tyneside ahead of his imminent move to Newcastle United.

In a ‘breaking news’ update on Monday morning, Keith Downie claims that the fee agreed is an initial £32m that will rise to £40m with add-ons.

The 20-year-old was pictured at St James’ Park over the weekend, with the full-back spotted in the stands to watch our Sela Cup wins over Fiorentina and Villarreal.

Livramento will become our fourth signing of the summer, taking our spending beyond the £100m mark following moves for Sandro Tonali, Harvey Barnes and Yankuba Minteh.

His signing on a long-term team should now be announced imminently, giving Eddie Howe another right-back and an exciting young talent to learn from and eventually replace Kieran Trippier.
